At Before Digital Games, we believe every console and game has a story worth continuing. We restore, test, and clean every console and game in our store so you can enjoy classic gaming with confidence.

Chris has been a lifelong gamer who loves to tinker, repair, and understand how things work. After working as a mechanic for well-known brands, he decided to build something of his own. Now, as a new father, he is bringing together his passion for games and his talent for fixing things to create a store that feels personal, dependable, and made for fellow gamers.

What began with restoring consoles for friends, including a few custom modifications along the way, has grown into Before Digital Games. Today, Chris runs the store alongside his wife, with their son by their side. Every item is handled with care and attention, from the first cleanup to the final test.

What is the return policy?

Are any purchases final sale?

We are unable to accept returns on certain items. These will be carefully marked before purchase. These will be custom products or specific modifications.
When will I get my order?

We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Delivery times vary depending on your location. See our full policy here.

Where are your products restored?

Our products are restored fully by us in home. We carefully select our restoration equiptment, products, and parts to ensure our consoles are high quality and a fair value.
How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is calculated based on your location and the items in your order. You will always know the shipping price before you purchase. See our full policy here.

Can I request a restoration?

Yes! We have a detailed refurbishment list that we will go through and give back to you. All restorations start at $50 and include new thermal paste. If new parts are needed you will pay for those plus an additional 10%. To request a restoration go to our page.
